The song and music video will be released at 1:00 p.m. today via various music streaming sites. Her agency, Blissu, stated, “It’s a song that layers dance-pop rhythms over restrained synth sounds and a bouncy bassline,” adding, “It expresses an instinctive attraction through the intuitive word ‘CLICK.’” The music video was directed by Joseph Kahn, a Korean-American Grammy Award winner who has worked with leading pop stars such as Taylor Swift, Eminem, and Lady Gaga. Jisoo had previously raised fans’ anticipation for the full video by releasing a teaser with a horror-movie vibe. Jisoo, who debuted as a member of BLACKPINK in August 2016, launched her solo career in March 2023 with the single “ME.” “Click” is also her first new song of the year. BLISS stated, “Starting with ‘Click,’ Jisoo plans to gradually unveil a variety of tracks one by one to steadily complete her full-length album.”
