[Edaily Starin YUN GI BACK Reporter] Singer Lee Young-ji has donated 50 million won to help residents in southern regions affected by torrential rains return to their normal lives. The donation holds even greater significance as it represents a commitment to consistent giving rather than a one-time contribution.

Hope Bridge National Disaster Relief Association announced on the 5th that Lee Young-ji donated 50 million won to aid in flood recovery efforts in southern regions, including Geoje, South Gyeongsang Province.
The donation will be used for recovery efforts in the flood-stricken areas, as well as to help displaced residents return to their normal lives.
Lee Young-ji stated that after seeing news reports on the damage, she began to think about the hardships people on the ground were facing, and she made the donation in the hope that it would be of some help to the recovery efforts. She also expressed her hope that recovery would take place as soon as possible.
This donation is particularly noteworthy because Lee Young-ji has consistently supported disaster relief and vulnerable populations.
Starting with a 20 million won donation to Hope Bridge in 2022, Lee Young-ji donated 10 million won in 2023 to support children at risk of malnutrition. When heavy rains caused damage that summer, she also donated 100 million won for flood recovery efforts.
With the addition of this 50 million won donation for flood recovery, Lee Young-ji’s cumulative donations through Hope Bridge have reached 180 million won.
