The Heavenly Resort announced on the 7th that it had released a brand campaign video featuring Lee Seung-cheol. The video showcases the resort, golf course, and lodging and leisure facilities located on Daebu Island in Ansan, Gyeonggi Province.
It is reported that Lee Seung-cheol has been staying at The Heaven Resort for about one or two days a week since 2013. Although he does not reside there permanently, he has used it as a second home, enjoying golf and relaxation with acquaintances such as professional golfer Yang Yong-eun. He is also known to have participated in charity events organized by the resort to support children in Africa.
His appearance in this campaign also stemmed from this connection. Word has it that upon hearing the resort was preparing to produce a campaign video, Lee Seung-cheol took the initiative to propose the concept—“based on my own personal experience”—and offered to participate as a model. According to the resort, he did not receive any separate compensation, including modeling fees or appearance fees.
Meanwhile, The Heavenly Resort operates both lodging facilities and the 27-hole The Heavenly Country Club. It also features an infinity pool, indoor and outdoor swimming pools, a movie theater, horseback riding facilities, and a fitness center.
Last year, The Heaven CC was ranked in the top 10 of the “4th Asia-Pacific Top 100 Golf Courses” selected by the Korea Golf Tourism Association. The 27-hole course was built on a coastal terrain bordered by the sea on three sides.
Through this video, The Heaven Resort plans to promote its Daebu Island resort, which combines golf, lodging, and leisure facilities.
