“Nowhere to Look,” director Hong Sang-soo’s 35th feature film, was invited to the 79th Locarno Film Festival, where it won the Best Director Award, Best Actress Award (Kim Min-hee), and the Ecumenical Jury Prize. The international publication *Variety* reviewed *Nowhere to Look* as “a short, bittersweet comedy about familial distance and personal drift, centered on Kim Min-hee’s superb performance—restrained yet deeply emotional—within crisp, honest visuals.” For *Nowhere to Look*, Director Hong not only produced, wrote, and directed the film but also handled the cinematography, sound recording, editing, and music. Kim Min-hee starred in the lead role and was also credited as production manager. The two continue to collaborate throughout the entire filmmaking process, extending beyond their roles as actor and director.
