This award recognizes Taewoong Logistics Co., Ltd. for expanding its workforce by approximately 16% over the past three years and for its ongoing efforts to create youth-centered jobs, promote fair hiring practices, nurture young talent, expand work experience opportunities, and foster a youth-friendly organizational culture.

The Government Award for Distinguished Service in Job Creation is a program that identifies and honors individuals who have exemplified work-life balance or contributed to job creation and qualitative improvements in employment. The Industrial Medal is the second-highest government award, following only the Order of Merit.

Taewoong Logistics Co., Ltd. has consistently received awards and certifications from the government and major institutions for its innovations in job creation. It was selected three times—in 2021, 2023, and 2024—as a “Youth-Friendly Small and Medium-Sized Enterprise” and earned an “S” grade as an “Outstanding Company for Work Innovation.” The company also received the Prime Minister’s Commendation for Meritorious Service in Job Creation.

The development of its proprietary logistics management systems, TIMS and TAS, which have boosted operational productivity, has also contributed to its achievements in the area of employment. The company was selected as a best practice by the “Task Force for the Roadmap to Reduce Actual Working Hours,” organized by the Ministry of Employment and Labor.

The company maintains a policy of prioritizing regular employment. As of the end of February this year, regular employees accounted for 93% of the total workforce. It has established a fair hiring system that prioritizes job competencies over educational background or place of origin, and 60% of new hires last year were from outside the Seoul metropolitan area.

The company also operates “TaeSLA,” a training program designed to nurture young talent. In addition, it participates in the “Future Tomorrow Work Experience” internship program organized by the Ministry of Employment and Labor and engages in industry-academia partnerships with specialized high schools and universities nationwide. Since 2022, it has operated the “With Dream” scholarship program to support young people’s job preparation and professional growth.

A Taewoong Logistics Co., Ltd. official stated, “Along with creating jobs for young people, we have strived to establish a practical, hands-on talent development system and a fair hiring culture,” adding, “We will create a supportive work environment and educational opportunities so that young people can envision themselves as logistics experts, and we aim to become a company where young people want to work.”

Meanwhile, Taewoong Logistics Co., Ltd. provides a wide range of logistics services, including multimodal transportation and project logistics. While continuously expanding its business portfolio in both domestic and international markets, the company is also strengthening its global logistics network by establishing fulfillment centers in the Seoul metropolitan area.
