[Edaily Starin YUN GI BACK Reporter] The group CRAVITY has hinted at a new musical world with “Resonance” at the forefront. Building on the narrative established in their previous work, the group is attempting another conceptual shift by linking it to the keyword “Echo.”

Their agency, Starship Entertainment, released a story film via official social media on the 10th and announced that CRAVITY’s 9th mini-album, “Sonorous,” will be released on the 30th.
The album title “Sonorous” conveys the meaning of “resonating deeply and richly.” The released story film is also structured around waves, resonance, and reverberation. It visually interprets the album’s core message through imagery such as a Pegasus emerging from a chrysalis, waves splitting the earth, and reverberations spreading along the sounds of musical instruments.
In particular, the video features the message, “When we realize we can resonate even farther, the world resonates for the first time,” succinctly illustrating the direction the new album aims to take. At the end of the video, a new symbol logo was revealed along with a snippet of the lyrics from “Sonorous.”
CRAVITY had previously dropped hints about the new album by releasing individual member photos featuring instruments that produce “resonance,” such as an acoustic guitar, a xylophone, and a grand piano. With the same keyword carried through to the story film, the group has made it clear that “resonance” is the overarching concept for this entire album.
Having expanded the group’s narrative and delivered even more intense performances through their previous 8th mini-album, “ReDeFINE,” CRAVITY is now expanding their universe by unifying their music, visuals, and story under a single keyword.
