Episode 773 of KBS2’s “Immortal Songs,” airing on the 12th, will feature Part 1 of the “2026 NEW WAVE Festival in Ulsan.”
This special episode features the girl group Jewelry, which dominated the music scene in the early 2000s, along with the original “pretty boy” band Click-B, the youth band AGAMI, the representative fourth-generation boy group CRAVITY, world-class dancer Honey J, the leading figure of emotional rap Mad Clown, trot idol and “Immortal Songs” host Lee Chan-won, the “Emperor of Live Performances” Lee Seung-gi, next-generation solo queen Dayoung, crossover group Forestella, “Trot Prince” Son Tae-jin, and top-tier vocalist Ailee, all set to set the stage ablaze. In Part 1, six acts—including Lee Seung-gi, Forestella, Lee Chan-won, Dayoung, Click-B, and Jewelry—will take the stage to fill the night in Ulsan with romance.
Jewelry, reunited for the first time in 20 years with the full lineup of Park Jung-ah, Lee Ji-hyun, Seo In-young, and Jo Min-ah, is set to perform a medley of hit songs, including “One More Time,” “I Really Like You,” “Tonight,” and “Super Star.”
Ulsan residents reportedly responded to the performance by clapping along to the beat of “I Really Like You,” as well as dancing along to Jewelry’s signature “ET Dance” and “Shaking Dance.” Jewelry shared a behind-the-scenes story of their preparations, saying, “It was hard to dance in heels like we used to. As soon as we turned around, it was like a blank slate,” sharing behind-the-scenes stories of their preparations. After the performance, Seo In-young also appeared emotional, telling the members, “Is this menopause? I’m tearing up again.”
A special collaboration stage will also be unveiled. Dayoung and Seo In-young, who met in Ulsan, will showcase fantastic chemistry with their performance of “Cinderella.”
“Immortal Songs” is a program where various singers reinterpret and perform classic songs from diverse genres. Having aired for over 700 episodes, it is considered one of KBS’s flagship long-running programs. It airs every Saturday at 6:05 p.m.
