[Edaily Reporter JAEMIN SONG ] LGELECTRONICS has opened the Middle East’s first business-to-business (B2B) dedicated artificial intelligence (AI) home experience center in Saudi Arabia. The company is targeting local construction firms and real estate developers by showcasing integrated solutions that combine home appliances, HVAC, power management, and security.

LGELECTRONICS announced on the 14th that it recently established an AI home experience space for B2B customers at its brand store in Riyadh, the capital of Saudi Arabia.

The experience space is designed to mimic a local premium residential environment, featuring a living room, kitchen, bedroom, and bathroom. Built-in appliances and furniture tailored to the Middle Eastern market—such as ovens, range hoods, and refrigerators—are arranged together to allow visitors to explore AI Home solutions in an environment similar to a real home.

Visitors can control home appliances and Internet of Things (IoT) devices using natural language voice commands via the AI home hub “ThinQ ON.” They can also experience the platform’s ability to connect IoT devices from various manufacturers sold in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa by integrating with the open smart home platform “Homey Pro.”

LGELECTRONICS also unveiled building management solutions—encompassing home appliances, heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC), power management, and security—in collaboration with global companies such as Schneider Electric and ASSA ABLOY. Moving beyond the supply of individual products, the company targets the needs of local real estate developers and hospitality operators, such as hotels and resorts, by offering a turnkey solution that provides all necessary building infrastructure and management systems in one package.

In Saudi Arabia, demand for smart buildings and premium residential complexes is growing in tandem with large-scale urban development. Market research firm Grand View Horizon forecasts that the Saudi smart home market will grow from approximately $2 billion in 2024 to about $8.7 billion by 2030, with a compound annual growth rate exceeding 27%.

LGELECTRONICS plans to operate the Riyadh experience center as a regional hub showroom for B2B customers in the Middle East and Africa. It will also expand its customer reach to major Saudi cities such as Jeddah and Dammam within the year.

The company will also continue its AI home business, tailoring solutions to reflect regional housing characteristics. In South Korea, LG Corp. has partnered with major construction firms to implement related solutions in over 1 million households. In North America, it is targeting the builder market with “LG ThinQ Pro” for building managers, while in Europe, it is supplying Homi-based Home Energy Management Systems (HEMS).

Kim Seong-jae, Executive Vice President and Head of the HS Overseas Sales Group at LGELECTRONICS, said, “Starting with the AI Home experience center in Riyadh, we will expand our solutions tailored to the Middle East market and establish ourselves as a B2B partner in the infrastructure construction sector.”
