SKTelecom announced on the 20th that it will participate in the “3rd Korea Social Value Festa,” hosted by the Korea Chamber of Commerce and Industry at COEX in Seoul on the 21st and 22nd, to introduce its sustainable management vision, “DO THE GOOD AI.”

Key Exhibition Items

SKTelecom has set up a 72-square-meter exhibition booth to showcase examples of social value creation through AI technologies and services under the theme “A Sustainable Future Through Better Connectivity.”

The exhibition hall will feature 11 examples of how AI is used to enhance safety and convenience in everyday life.

Notable examples include “A.dot Family Care,” which uses AI to prevent voice phishing, and “FAME,” which detects financial fraud. “AI Care Call” checks in on vulnerable populations, while “CareVia” utilizes vision AI to support the daily lives of people with developmental disabilities.

The event will also feature “Fly AI Challenger,” where young AI talents tackle social issues, and “Happy AI Coding School & Challenge,” which cultivates AI skills among future generations.

Services from the winning teams of the “Fly AI Challenger” and companies participating in SKTelecom’s startup incubation program will also be on display.

The exhibition hall was constructed using eco-friendly materials, such as recycled plastic. The aim is to demonstrate how AI technologies and services connect people with one another and technology with society, thereby expanding into social value.

On the first day of the event, the 21st, at 4:00 p.m., the “SKTCH Concert” will also take place.

This event provides a platform for startups participating in SKTelecom’s ESG startup incubation program, “SKTCH for Good,” to share social issues they’ve identified on the ground and the solutions they’ve developed.

The three main themes are: △ digital inclusion and care, △ climate disaster response, and △ digital crime prevention.

Experts in each field will highlight social issues, and startups will present case studies of how they are solving these problems using technologies such as AI. Practical solutions will also be discussed through panel discussions.

Eom Jong-hwan, Head of Sustainable Management at SKTelecom, said, “We plan to demonstrate how AI can better connect people with one another and with society, and solve the various problems our society faces,” adding, “We will contribute to building a sustainable future by combining SKTelecom’s technology and capabilities with the innovative ideas of various partners.”
