[Edaily Reporter Shin Yeong-bin ] Multicampus Corporation(067280)received the Minister of Employment and Labor Award for its use of artificial intelligence (AI) in personalized vocational training. The company was recognized for incorporating AI tutors and role-playing into its training programs, thereby increasing learner engagement and improving learning outcomes.

Multicampus Corporation announced on the 30th that it had won the Minister of Employment and Labor Award—the top prize—in the “2026 Vocational Training Innovation Best Practices and Ideas Contest” hosted by the Korea Institute for Vocational Qualifications and the Ministry of Employment and Labor.

This contest was organized to identify cases that have enhanced vocational training outcomes by utilizing AI Transformation (AX) technology, edtech, and new teaching methods. A total of nine organizations were selected as winners following document and presentation evaluations.

Multicampus Corporation submitted an entry titled “AI-Based Learning Experience Solution Supporting Personalized Growth.” Unlike traditional Learning Management Systems (LMS), which focused on content delivery and learning history management, this solution utilizes AI to enable learners to ask questions and engage in hands-on practice while receiving immediate feedback.

Key features include the “AI Practice Tutor,” “AI Mindmate,” and “AI Role-Playing.” The AI Practice Tutor provides learners with prompts and feedback as they apply course material to real-world tasks.

The AI Mind Mate helps learners recognize and express their emotions through conversations with the AI. AI Role-Playing is a one-on-one interactive simulation based on real-world work scenarios, allowing users to repeatedly practice leadership and workplace communication skills.

The company explained that as the use of AI features has increased, learners’ comprehension and course completion rates have also improved. In particular, the number of conversations per learner in “AI Role-Playing” has roughly doubled compared to immediately after its launch.

Multicampus Corporation currently plans to integrate the AI learning features, which are currently offered separately, into a single environment called “AI Studio.” Through the Ministry of Employment and Labor’s K-Digital Training “AI Campus” program, the company is also promoting the development of practical talent capable of applying AI to real-world tasks in industrial settings.

This award-winning case study is scheduled to be shared with other vocational training institutions through best-practice compendiums produced by the Korea Institute for Vocational Competency Assessment and Evaluation.
