The new plant will be located in the Anseong Highland General Industrial Complex in Wongok-myeon, Anseong-si, Gyeonggi Province. On a site spanning approximately 2,051 pyeong (6,781 m²), the company plans to construct a 1,085-pyeong production building and a two-story, 160-pyeong office building. Completion is targeted for early next year.
Once the new plant is completed, KNS CO., LTD’s annual production capacity (CAPA) is expected to increase by approximately 100% compared to current levels. Major products include riveting equipment used in the manufacture of 46-pai cylindrical batteries, as well as assembly and inspection equipment and unmanned automation systems.
Currently, KNS CO., LTD operates Plant 1 and Plant 2 in Pyeongtaek, Gyeonggi Province. In 2023, the company completed the expansion of Plant 2, which is approximately three times larger than the original Plant 1, and increased its production capacity for cylindrical battery CID equipment by 2.4 times compared to the previous level.
Based at its new plant in Anseong, KNS CO., LTD plans to enhance its supply capabilities for next-generation cylindrical battery production equipment and meet demand for various unmanned automation equipment not only in battery manufacturing processes but also in the field of physical AI.
