[Edaily Reporter Shin Ha-yeon ] TRUEN Co., Ltd(417790), a company specializing in AI video security, announced on the 14th that CEO Ahn Jae-cheon had purchased 14,509 shares of the company’s stock on the open market.
With this additional purchase, CEO Ahn’s shareholding has increased to 2,775,359 shares, representing a 26.51% stake. CEO Ahn had previously purchased company shares on the open market earlier this year. The company explained that this purchase reflects his confidence in the company’s medium- to long-term growth potential and his commitment to responsible management.

TRUEN Co., Ltd has recently been expanding its domestic and international business, focusing on on-device AI cameras and the video analytics software “TAEM (Truen AI Event Manager).” In particular, the company is targeting demand for alternatives to Chinese video security products in overseas markets such as the United States, Germany, and India.
In fact, total export revenue for the second quarter of this year increased by 176.5% compared to the same period last year. Overseas sales of its flagship product, Internet Protocol (IP) cameras, rose by 270.5% during the same period.
Domestically, as interest in video information security grows, efforts are underway to expand the adoption of domestically produced AI CCTV systems. The government is promoting a project to transition public CCTV systems to AI CCTV by incorporating domestically produced neural network processing units (NPUs), and is also expanding the establishment of intelligent monitoring systems that use AI to analyze CCTV footage from local governments to detect disasters, crimes, and abnormal situations.
TRUEN Co., Ltd plans to increase its supply in both domestic and international video security markets based on its proprietary AI cameras and video analysis solutions.
