Cosmic Chips will release their second full-length album, “TASTE,” on the 14th via various online music platforms. Cosmic Chips is a band that creates its own unique sound based on soul, funk, and disco genres. The group consists of five members: leader and vocalist Jung Yeop (a member of Brown Eyed Soul), Unique Note (keyboards), Son Deuk-il (drums), Dippingga (bass), and Yoo Ji-hoon (guitar). The album features a total of eight tracks, including the title track “BABY BABE,” as well as “ON Your DIAL,” “Lonely, Lovely,” “A Shadow of Love,” “Radio Kid,” “Turn Up the Volume,” “Our Night,” and “Something Good”—for a total of eight tracks. All members of Cosmic Chips are credited on every track on the album. The title track, “Baby Babe,” is a mellow song that blends the sounds of the vibraphone and sitar with dry drum beats, complemented by Jeong Yeop’s signature smooth vocals. This marks Cosmic Chips’ first new release in about one year and two months since they released the single “Tangled” last August. All tracks from the new album will be released at 6:00 p.m. today via various online music platforms.
