GFC Life Science Co., Ltd. launched the fmk brand last March and plans to expand into additional countries. The company is currently negotiating the terms of exclusive supply agreements with local partners in major European and Asian markets, including Ukraine, Poland, and Hong Kong. The goal is to sequentially finalize the ongoing negotiations and secure exclusive supply agreements in a cumulative total of five countries by 2026.
fmk is pursuing a strategy of establishing local distribution systems based on exclusive partners in each country. The company plans to build a long-term sales foundation with partners possessing distribution and marketing capabilities and to diversify its overseas sales channels by expanding the supply of products tailored to the characteristics and trends of consumers in each country.
The company has also completed regulatory compliance measures for global market expansion. fmk’s core products, the “Rejuvenating PDRN Kit” and “Brightening Vita Kit,” have been registered with the European Cosmetics Registration Portal (CPNP). The company has also finalized registration and regulatory compliance procedures related to the FDA’s Modernization of Cosmetics Regulation Act (MoCRA) to enter the U.S. market.
Based on these achievements, GFC Life Science Co., Ltd. plans to secure a foothold in major cosmetics markets such as Europe and the U.S. and expand its product lineup to meet the regulatory environments and consumer demands of each country. Recently, the company broadened its portfolio by launching the new “Calming Matcha EXO Kit,” adding to its existing PDRN and vitamin product lines.
The company is also setting out to target the inbound K-Beauty market for foreign tourists visiting Korea. FMK has confirmed its entry into the “MimiK Beauty Care Pharmacy” in Dongdaemun, which held its soft opening on August 14. The plan is to operate this location as an offline hub where overseas consumers can directly experience the products and engage with the brand, leveraging the Dongdaemun commercial district, which attracts a high proportion of foreign tourists.
Mimi K Beauty Care Pharmacy is expected to attract 150,000 to 220,000 visitors per month, with foreign tourists projected to account for approximately 60–80% of that total. GFC Life Science Co., Ltd. plans to use this space as a hub to introduce its products to international consumers while also identifying new business opportunities with overseas distributors and buyers.
The company will also strengthen its global business-to-business (B2B) marketing efforts. FMK plans to continue participating in major global beauty exhibitions, including “Cosmoprof Worldwide Bologna” scheduled for next year, to identify new buyers and expand distribution partnerships in various countries.
GFC Life Science Co., Ltd. aims to cultivate fmk as a new business pillar driving medium- to long-term growth, based on the establishment of overseas distribution networks and global marketing. Starting with five countries this year, the company plans to build an exclusive supply network covering a total of 15 countries by next year and will focus on converting country-specific contracts into actual product supply and sales.
A representative from GFC Life Science Co., Ltd. stated, “fmk is the result of expanding our accumulated bio-material technology and dermatological R&D capabilities into our own product and brand business,” adding, “Following our first tangible achievement—securing exclusive supply agreements with Vietnam and Italy just five months after launch—we are currently in discussions with additional countries, further accelerating the expansion of our overseas business.”
The spokesperson continued, “Based on our commercialization system—which spans from R&D to product planning and development, compliance with global regulations, and the establishment of local distribution networks—we plan to build an exclusive supply network covering five countries this year and 15 countries next year.” They added, “Going forward, we will translate the expansion of our contract countries into actual product supply and sales growth, fostering fmk as a new global revenue growth engine for GFC Life Science Co., Ltd.”
