[Edaily Reporter Oh Hee-na ] Hana Tour has opened a visa application center in China to promote exchanges between South Korea and China.

Hana Tour announced on the 23rd that the South Korean Visa Application Center in Shenyang, China, held its opening ceremony on the 22nd.
The opening ceremony for the Shenyang Visa Application Center, located in the Lingxi Center Building in Heping District, Shenyang, China, was attended by key officials, including Kim Seong-min, Consul General of the Republic of Korea in Shenyang, members of the consular corps, and Park Sang-bin, Head of the Business Management Division at Hana Tour.
In response to the expansion of people-to-people exchanges between South Korea and China and the increasing demand for visa applications, Hana Tour has been entrusted by the Ministry of Justice to operate the Shenyang Visa Application Center, handling visa receipt and issuance. As before, the Consulate General of the Republic of Korea in Shenyang will be responsible for visa issuance reviews.
Hana Tour has been operating visa application centers in China, Vietnam, the Philippines, and Nepal since 2015, when it first opened centers in Guangzhou and Qingdao, China. With the opening of this Shenyang Visa Application Center, the company has expanded its experience in operating visa application centers within China and further strengthened its expertise in handling South Korean visa applications.
The Shenyang Visa Application Center has separated the waiting areas for individual customers from those reserved for agencies to reduce congestion and enhance user convenience. It offers free convenience services—such as an electronic form-filling system, text message updates on application status, and appointment scheduling—as well as a variety of additional services related to visa applications.
A Hana Tour official stated, “Based on our accumulated experience in operating visa application centers and our IT and security systems, we will provide stable and convenient services in the Shenyang area,” adding, “We will support applicants in quickly and accurately checking visa information and processing status through our official website and main call center.”
The spokesperson added, “Through friendly and standardized visa application support services, we will make it more convenient for residents of the three northeastern provinces to visit South Korea and contribute to the revitalization of tourism, economic, and people-to-people exchanges between South Korea and China.”
