[Edaily Reporter YUN GI BACK ] Singer Yoon Ha and her agency, C9 Entertainment, have brought their 14-year partnership to a close. Amid a legal dispute over settlement payments, C9 Entertainment acknowledged the termination of the exclusive contract but stated that it would abide by the court’s ruling regarding the financial dispute.

In an official statement released on the 26th, C9 Entertainment announced, “We hereby inform you that the exclusive contract with our artist Yoon Ha has been terminated.”
Regarding the ongoing lawsuit over settlement payments, the company explained, “We are clarifying the matters in dispute between the two parties through legal procedures,” adding, “We will respect the court’s final ruling and faithfully fulfill our necessary obligations in accordance with the outcome.”
Earlier, Yoon Ha’s legal representative, the law firm Iro, stated that they had demanded rectification on that day due to the long-term non-payment of settlement funds, but their request was not fulfilled; consequently, they notified the agency of the termination of the exclusive contract last September. Yoon Ha’s side has also filed a lawsuit claiming unpaid settlement funds.
While both sides agree that the contract has ended, the dispute over the settlement payments is expected to be resolved in court.
C9 Entertainment also expressed gratitude and support for Yoon Ha, with whom they have worked for 14 years. The agency stated, “We express our deep gratitude for the sincerity and passion Yoon Ha has shown toward music, as well as the numerous achievements she has made as an artist,” adding, “Although our long journey together has come to an end, we will cherish the precious time we spent with Yoon Ha for a long time to come.” They added, “We sincerely hope that Yoonha will continue to showcase her talents as an artist through even more diverse music and activities in her new environment.”
