[Edaily Reporter SONG YOUNG-DOO ] SEERS TECHNOLOGY(458870)is expanding the supply of its wearable artificial intelligence (AI) electrocardiogram (ECG) analysis solution, “Mobicare,” in Vietnam, while in Kazakhstan, it is introducing case studies on the construction of smart wards as it seeks to enter the Central Asian market.
SEERS announced on the 27th that it plans to expand its overseas business—which has been centered on the United States and the United Arab Emirates (UAE)—to Southeast Asia and Central Asia.
On the 22nd, the company introduced its AI-powered inpatient monitoring platform “Think” and the case study of the smart ward’s construction and operation at Dongtan City Hospital to a high-level delegation from Kazakhstan’s Ministry of Health visiting South Korea. The company reported that the delegation expressed interest in the Think-based smart ward system, and officials from the National Cancer Research Center suggested that it could be utilized in local hospitals as well.
This visit was arranged as part of the Kazakhstani delegation’s itinerary to tour best practices in digital healthcare during their visit to South Korea to attend the “5th World Bio Summit 2026.” Seven members attended, including Yerbol Ospanov, Deputy Minister of Health, as well as officials from the Digital Healthcare Development Agency, the National e-Health Center, and the National Cancer Research Center.
The two sides also shared information on long-term ECG monitoring systems and operational experiences. The Kazakhstani delegation explained that, since local reimbursement rates for Holter monitoring are set on a 24-hour basis, it is difficult to expand long-term monitoring. SEERS introduced examples of long-term ECG monitoring implementation in South Korea and discussed the potential for local application of Think and Mobicare.
In Vietnam, the supply of Mobicare is expanding. According to SEERS, since its local launch last April, major medical institutions—including the Vietnam National Children’s Hospital, Medratec, and Hung Buong General Hospital—have officially purchased and prescribed Mobicare.
SEERS is also working with local partners to establish remote ECG interpretation centers, focusing on hub hospitals in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City. The company plans to expand its business to Thailand, Indonesia, and other markets in the future.
At the “Asia Telemedicine Conference 2026,” held in Hanoi, Vietnam, on the 16th, Kim Seong-jong, Vice President and CBO of SEERS, presented on wearable AI-based patient monitoring technology and its use cases. This marked SEERS’ second consecutive year participating in the event.
A SEERS official stated, “Following the United States and the UAE, the commercialization of Mobicare is gaining momentum in Vietnam, and interest in wearable AI medical solutions, including Think, is also growing in Kazakhstan,” adding, “We will accelerate our entry into the global market based on technologies and business models that have been validated in Korea.”
