[Edaily Reporter Shin Yeong-bin ] I know what the view counts are, but what should I film for my next video?

WISE iTech Co., Ltd.(065370)An artificial intelligence (AI) analytics service called “Tumeet” has been launched to address this dilemma faced by YouTube channel operators. The service analyzes trending topics in the market alongside viewer reactions on a channel to suggest content ideas and operational strategies.

WISE iTech Co., Ltd. held a press conference at Boco Seoul Myeongdong in Jung-gu, Seoul, on the 27th to launch Tumeet. The company plans to grow its subscription-based business by applying its experience in providing data analysis solutions to enterprises and public institutions to the content market.

The company aims to secure approximately 500 paid subscribers and a total user base of about 1,000, including free users, by the first quarter of next year.

Kim Dasan, CEO of WISE iTech Co., Ltd., explained, “Looking at numbers and finding meaning in them are two different things,” adding that the company will help users leverage the data accumulated on YouTube to make informed operational decisions.

Although YouTube Studio allows users to check metrics such as view counts, click-through rates, and watch time, it is difficult to determine why a video performed well or what needs to be changed based on numbers alone. The appropriate response varies depending on whether the video lacked sufficient exposure or if the title and thumbnail failed to attract attention.

Tumit supports these decisions by linking data from your channel, similar channels, and market trends. It displays the “Top 100 Trending Keywords” across 13 categories along with related videos and channels, while also tracking shifts in audience interest and content supply.

By linking your channel, you can see which videos and topics drove growth and where your viewers came from. It categorizes comments into questions, requests, and feedback, and organizes recurring requests. You can use reactions such as anticipation for the next episode or requests to see specific guests in your planning.

“Tumeet PD,” an AI management tool, generates drafts and improvement suggestions for video titles, descriptions, and tags. It identifies scenes that viewers have rewatched multiple times and recommends them as material for Shorts, while channel performance metrics and key changes are delivered via KakaoTalk notifications and monthly reports.

During the press conference, a case study featuring the “Haha PD” channel—which has approximately 1.17 million subscribers—was also presented. Kwan Entertainment explained that it had been testing various types of content since the early stages of Tumeet’s development and incorporating the analysis results into production and scheduling.

A prime example is the “Expedition Team” series. While the first video’s initial performance was mediocre, views, comments, and other engagement metrics surged about six months later. The production team identified this shift through Tumeet notifications and used it as the basis for producing follow-up episodes. Three Shorts videos created using segments that viewers replayed repeatedly have garnered a combined total of over 15 million views, according to Zaigle Co., Ltd.

Park Shin-woo, a producer at Kwan Entertainment, revealed that they also used data to define the distinct roles of each content series. They determined the production direction by viewing “Ghost Story Club” as a series designed to attract new viewers and “The Expedition Team” as one aimed at encouraging repeat viewership. Repeated requests for sequels and feedback on the cast found in the comments were also incorporated into the planning process.

WISE iTech Co., Ltd. plans to lower the price barrier during the initial launch phase and acquire users through promotions. First, the company intends to increase channel integrations to accumulate data and, in the future, expand its revenue streams through a product placement (PPL) matching business that connects advertisers with creators.

While focusing on the domestic market for now, the company is also exploring the possibility of expanding to other social media platforms such as TikTok and Instagram. The vision is to reduce the effort advertisers spend searching for channels one by one and to provide creators with new advertising opportunities.

CEO Kim stated, “Through TuMit, we will enable anyone to use data as a basis for content planning and channel management decisions, and we will lead the transformation of the data-driven content market.”
