[Edaily Reporter Kim Hyung-il ] CP SYSTEM ( CP SYSTEM(413630)), a company specializing in cable protection solutions for high-tech industries, announced on the 28th that its cable chains have been supplied for use in automated separation and loading equipment being installed at a U.S. production plant operated by a major domestic battery cell manufacturer. CP SYSTEM plans to use this supply as an opportunity to strengthen its push into the North American rechargeable battery manufacturing equipment market.

CP SYSTEM’s cable chains were adopted for automation equipment manufactured by a domestic rechargeable battery manufacturing equipment company. The equipment in question consists of automated separation and loading modules used in battery cell production processes at a U.S. facility. The cable chains protect the cables inside the equipment and ensure its stable operation.

This supply is particularly significant because CP SYSTEM’s product was selected during a review of alternative specifications following quality and delivery issues with existing competing products. Based on its product quality and supply capabilities, CP SYSTEM is building a track record of supply and expanding its scope of application in the North American rechargeable battery manufacturing equipment sector.

CP SYSTEM has previously accumulated experience in lithium-ion battery manufacturing processes by supplying its “G-Clean Chain”—a cable chain designed specifically for cleanrooms—to stacking and packaging equipment used by major domestic lithium-ion battery cell manufacturers. Recently, the company expanded its supply base by completing registration as an official supplier to a global battery cell manufacturer based in Korea.

Building on its track record and product reliability, CP SYSTEM is expanding its scope of application to encompass the entire range of automated rechargeable battery manufacturing equipment. The company explains that by expanding its supply portfolio from stacking and packaging equipment to automated separation and loading modules, it has established a foundation to support a wide variety of manufacturing processes.

CP SYSTEM plans to strengthen its push into the global rechargeable battery manufacturing equipment market, including North America. The company intends to expand its supply of cable chains to meet the demand for automation and advancement in rechargeable battery production processes and secure additional supply opportunities based on its transaction experience with existing clients.

A CP SYSTEM official stated, “This supply represents an expansion of our application areas, built on the quality competitiveness and product reliability we have accumulated in the existing rechargeable battery manufacturing equipment sector,” adding, “We will actively respond to growing global demand through the expansion of our second factory and continue to strengthen our supply competitiveness in the advanced manufacturing equipment market.”
