[Edaily Reporter JAEMIN SONG ] "The robotics business is planning a variety of business models, ranging from research-oriented products centered on standalone DEVICES to sector-specific hardware and software package solutions developed in collaboration with system integration (SI) partners in the services sector, as well as data sales and implementation projects through DataFactory. While we are considering paid pilot projects and commercialization of DataFactory for external customers in the medium to long term, our current priority is internal use to enhance the performance of our own robots. We plan to communicate regarding external commercialization once the business model is further defined. We are continuing our collaboration with NVIDIA to advance technology based on reference robots. Building on the domain expertise in home and manufacturing environments gained from existing businesses, the company is rapidly collecting real-world data in spaces that simulate actual environments. It is collaborating with NVIDIA across the entire spectrum of physical AI technologies—including simulation, world modeling, and robot development platforms—and is establishing a virtuous cycle to secure approximately 500,000 cumulative hours of training data by the end of the year by combining real and virtual data."
