[E-Daily Starin Gim Ga Yeong Reporter] Actor Kim Min, who was embroiled in allegations of scripted scenes after appearing on MBC’s “I Live Alone,” will appear on the show again.

On the 29th, the production team of MBC’s “I Live Alone” announced that Kim Min will appear on the episode airing on the 30th.
Previously, Kim Min garnered attention by appearing on “I Live Alone” and showcasing a “down-to-earth” daily life. However, allegations of staging surfaced after the episode aired. Last July, a netizen revealed images of Kim Min’s home captured via Street View and pointed out that it differed from what was shown on the broadcast. The netizen also raised suspicions, noting that utility poles were visible around the house and arguing there was no reason to use a generator.
These allegations of fabrication began with an episode featuring Jeon Hyun-moo’s impromptu trip to Almaty, Kazakhstan. Suspicions arose that Jeon Hyun-moo’s trip was staged, and although the production team explained, “We had booked the staff’s plane tickets in advance so we could respond immediately if the trip to Kazakhstan was confirmed,” allegations of fabrication against the program persisted.
As the controversy spread, the production team of “I Live Alone” clarified, “The house featured on the show is indeed where Kim Min actually lives,” adding, “The production team did not make any special preparations or stage any situations for filming.”
Still shots of Kim Min, who returned to the show after overcoming the staging allegations, show him sporting a midwinter look—a departure from his appearance in the previous episode. Wearing a thick jacket and a scarf, Kim Min is seen drinking coffee on a wide-open terrace (?) despite the cold.
Kim Min is seen riding a motorcycle—a memento from his father—and stopping in front of a repair shop. He casually unlocks the padlock on the tightly closed door and parks the motorcycle. After skillfully gathering his tools, he inspects the motorcycle with a look of deep affection in his eyes.
“I Live Alone” airs on the 30th at 11:10 p.m.
