[Edaily Reporter KIM HYUNSIK ] The group TREASURE is set to make a comeback on the 2nd with their new digital single “SHOCK.”

“SHOCK” is TREASURE’s new release, coming five months after the group dropped their fourth mini-album “NEW WAV” last June.
The title track “SHOCK” is an electronic hip-hop song characterized by its synth sounds and fast-paced progression. The song was completed by incorporating lyrics from “Hot (Tteogeo),” a song released by 1TYM in 2003. Music producers BIGTONE and P.K. participated in the production.
Through their agency, YG Entertainment, TREASURE stated, “We’ll truly show our momentum with this new song,” adding, “We want to deliver a positive shock to our fans.” They further emphasized, “We’ve worked hard to prepare for this promotion to repay the immense love our fans have shown us through our previous promotions and fan concert tour.”
The track and music video will be released at 6 p.m. today via various online music platforms. The agency expressed its hopes, stating, “This new song will deliver a refreshing surprise to listeners while leaving a lasting impression of TREASURE’s unique charm,” and asked fans to look forward to it.
