According to the Korea Meteorological Administration, the morning low is forecast to range from 0 to 9 degrees, while the daytime high is expected to be between 15 and 19 degrees.

In particular, as cold air moves southward from the northwest, morning temperatures will be about 5–8 degrees lower than the previous day, and the temperature difference between day and night will be very large—around 15 degrees—so people should take care of their health due to the sudden temperature changes.

Frost is expected in inland areas nationwide, and ice may form in parts of eastern Gyeonggi Province, the inland and mountainous areas of Gangwon Province, the inland areas of the Chungcheong region, northeastern Jeonbuk Province, and the northeastern mountainous areas of Gyeongbuk Province.

Rain is expected in some areas of the Five West Sea Islands, with an expected precipitation amount of less than 5 mm.

Waves are expected to reach 0.5–2.0 meters in the East Sea, 0.5–1.0 meters in the West Sea, and 0.5–1.5 meters in the South Sea. Wave heights in the open waters within approximately 200 km of the coastline are expected to be 0.5–2.5 meters in the East and South Seas and 0.5–2.0 meters in the West Sea.

In particular, strong winds of 35–55 km/h are expected in the waters near Jeju Island through the afternoon of the 3rd. Waves are also expected to reach heights of 1.5–3.5 meters, so vessels navigating or fishing in the area should exercise caution to prevent accidents.
