[Edaily Reporter Kim Hyung-il ] SLCORPORATION, a construction artificial intelligence (AI) deep tech company, announced on the 4th that it has won the “2026 Startup World Cup Korea Finals” and will advance to the global semifinals to be held in Silicon Valley, USA.

SLCORPORATION competed against 14 other startups and emerged victorious at the Korea Finals held in Seoul on October 8. As a result, the company will represent Korea at the Global Semifinals taking place on the 4th and 5th (local time) at the Hilton Union Square in San Francisco, U.S.

Startup World Cup is a global startup competition organized by Pegasus Tech Ventures, a Silicon Valley-based venture capital firm. Companies selected through more than 200 regional qualifiers worldwide compete based on their technological capabilities and business scalability. The overall winner receives $1 million (approximately 1.3 billion won) in investment and global networking opportunities.

SLCORPORATION presented the topic at this competition: a Spatial AI solution designed to resolve bottlenecks that occur during the design and construction of industrial facilities. The company focused on using AI technology to streamline the increasingly complex mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) design and construction processes, driven by growing demand for AI data centers and semiconductor fabs.

SLCORPORATION explained that it was recognized for its technological capabilities in enhancing productivity from design through construction by combining AI-based design automation with augmented reality (AR) digital twin technology. The company believes it received positive evaluations for its ability to resolve design and construction bottlenecks at industrial facility construction sites, as well as for its potential to expand into the global market.
