[Edaily Reporter Lee Hye-ra] #Selvas AI affiliate #MEDIANA announced on the 12th that it will integrate Vuno’s AI-based cardiac arrest prediction service, “Vuno DeepCARE,” into its integrated monitoring solution, “MEDIANA Unified Monitoring.” The two companies plan to begin supplying the service to hospitals and launching it commercially starting in the third quarter.

This project marks the first commercialization initiative of the "Medical AI Strategic Alliance (MASA)," jointly launched by Mediana, Selvas AI, Vuno, and JLK.
Mediana anticipates that integrating external AI medical services into MEDIANA Unified Monitoring will serve as an opportunity to validate the AI scalability of its integrated monitoring platform.
Mediana Unified Monitoring is an integrated monitoring system that connects patient monitors, wearable medical devices, and central monitoring systems (CMS). It serves as a platform for the integrated management of patient vital sign data and alarms generated by patient monitors and wearable devices. The company recently completed its digital medical device manufacturing registration with the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety (MFDS).
DeepCars, which integrates with this system, has obtained approval from the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety. It analyzes key vital signs—such as heart rate, respiratory rate, blood pressure, and body temperature—to predict the risk of cardiac arrest within 24 hours. This enables medical staff to respond more proactively to deteriorating patient conditions.
Through this integration, the two companies plan to establish an integrated monitoring environment that goes beyond existing real-time patient monitoring to include AI-based risk prediction capabilities. In particular, they aim to build a "Predictive Monitoring" environment that anticipates changes in patient condition by linking vital sign data collected from patient monitors and wearable devices with AI analysis models.
Mediana plans to use this collaboration as a starting point to expand partnerships with various AI healthcare companies, gradually integrating AI diagnostic and predictive services, and expanding the medical AI ecosystem based on an integrated monitoring platform.
Yoon Seung-hyun, President of Mediana, stated, “We plan to complete development and implementation in July and begin supplying the system to hospitals starting in the third quarter.” He added, “We plan to gradually integrate various AI diagnostic and predictive services to evolve the platform into a solution that supports integrated monitoring and AI-based clinical decision-making within hospitals.”
