According to MP Doctor on the 23rd, HanWool Semiconductor was trading at 27,850 won as of 9:07 a.m., up 20.30% from the previous trading day. HanWool Semiconductor closed at the daily price limit for three consecutive trading days from the 18th through the previous day, driven by expectations of an improving market for multilayer ceramic capacitors (MLCCs) and news of a partnership with Japan’s Murata.
HanWool Semiconductor appears to be maintaining its upward momentum amid continued news regarding the advancement of its AI-based MLCC inspection equipment. With MLCC demand expanding due to recent growth in the markets for AI servers, electric vehicles, autonomous driving, and automotive electronics, demand for related production facilities and inspection equipment is also increasing. HanWool Semiconductor explained that, in response to these market changes, it is expanding discussions on equipment supply with domestic and international MLCC manufacturers.
