On the 13th, the production team of tvN’s “You Quiz on the Block” announced, “Ahead of the domestic release of the film ‘The Martian,’ it has been confirmed that Director Christopher Nolan and actor Matt Damon will visit Korea on August 3,” adding, “We plan to share a variety of stories about the film and candid conversations you won’t hear anywhere else, so please look forward to it.”
This marks Director Christopher Nolan’s first-ever visit to Korea. Along with the news of his first-ever visit, Nolan has drawn even more attention by releasing a letter he wrote personally for Korean audiences, saying, “I am grateful for the love and support Korean fans have shown my films over the years.” Matt Damon is returning to Korea for the first time in 10 years and is set to have a meaningful reunion with his Korean fans.
During their visit, the two will participate in the recording of “You Quiz on the Block,” where they plan to share a variety of behind-the-scenes stories about the movie “The Martian,” as well as their philosophies on directing and acting, and personal life stories rarely heard before.
