[Edaily Reporter Kim Seung-kwon ] #NEUROPHET Inc.’s brain imaging analysis software “Neurofit Aqua AD Plus,” used for prescribing Alzheimer’s disease treatments, has been designated as an “Innovative Product” by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy, thereby securing eligibility to enter into direct contracts with public institutions for up to six years.
NEUROPHET Inc. announced on the 21st that NEUROPHET Aqua AD Plus had been designated as an “Innovative Product” for the first half of 2026 by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy. The Innovative Product designation system is designed to support the initial market entry of products from small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and mid-sized companies that have been recognized for their public value and technological innovation through government R&D projects, and to expand their sales channels by linking them to public procurement.
NEUROPHET Inc. Aqua AD Plus is software that supports image-based decision-making across the entire treatment cycle—from quantitatively analyzing MRI and PET images to determining prescription eligibility before drug administration, monitoring side effects during treatment, and analyzing treatment efficacy after administration. The company explained that this designation has significantly enhanced its access to public procurement channels, including central government ministries, local governments, and public medical institutions.
The company noted that, given the prevalence of long-term use following initial product adoption in the public healthcare and national health screening sectors, this designation is expected to establish a sustainable revenue base. Incorporation
Bin Jun-gil, Co-CEO of NEUROPHET Inc., stated that demand for NEUROPHET Aqua AD Plus from major medical institutions in the field of image analysis related to Alzheimer’s disease treatment prescriptions is steadily growing. He added that, building on this designation as an innovative product, the company will strengthen its public healthcare business and contribute to the practical treatment of dementia patients.
