In the upcoming episode of ENA and SBS Plus’s “I’m Single,” airing on the 22nd, Young-cheol and Young-ja create an uneasy atmosphere starting in the common lounge before their date. When Young-cheol tries to gauge Young-ja’s mood by asking, “Aren’t we going to talk?” Young-ja cuts him off, replying, “Can’t we just talk once we get there?” The two then head to a restaurant by car, but even inside the vehicle, they remain silent for a full 11 minutes. Frustrated by the stifling silence, host Defconn exclaims in surprise, “This is the first time ever I’ve seen a couple drive all the way to a restaurant without exchanging a single word. It’s a full-blown cold war.”
The cold war continues at the restaurant. Eventually, they vent their pent-up frustrations at each other, leading to an argument that lasts over an hour and 40 minutes. Young-ja breaks down, saying to Young-cheol, who keeps cutting her off, “Please just listen to me before you speak.” Young-cheol retorts, “Stop reacting like that.” With their conversation going nowhere, all eyes are on whether the two will reach a real breaking point.
“I’m Single” is a dating show where single men and women who desperately want to get married gather to struggle to find love.
