[E-Daily Reporter Shin Yeong-bin ] LG CNS (#LG CNS) has obtained international standard certification for its compliance management system across its core businesses, including artificial intelligence (AI), cloud computing, and data centers.

LG Corp. announced on the 27th that it has received certification for the international standard for compliance management systems, “ISO 37301.”

ISO 37301 is a standard established by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) to enable companies and organizations to systematically manage their compliance obligations, including laws, regulations, internal policies, and ethical standards. The audit was conducted by LRQA, a specialized international standards audit organization.

The scope of certification covers LG Corp.’s key business areas, including AI, cloud, data centers, and software development and maintenance.

LRQA evaluated the compliance management systems of each business unit by reviewing systems and related documentation, conducting interviews with management and relevant personnel, and verifying actual work records.

LG Corp. operates regular compliance risk assessments, training, monitoring, internal audits, and management reviews centered around its company-wide Compliance Committee. It has also established a management system to respond to changes in domestic and international regulations.

In particular, the operation of the Compliance Committee—which includes overseas subsidiaries—and the system for employees to conduct voluntary compliance risk checks via the internal portal were recognized as best practices.

Hyun Shin-kyun, President of LG CNS, stated, “This certification acknowledges that we have established and are operating a compliance management system that meets international standards across all major business areas,” adding, “We will continue to enhance our global-level compliance system at all business sites, both domestically and internationally.”
