AmoreG(002790)Amorepacific Holdings announced on the 27th that it has signed an investment agreement with Higher Corporation to strengthen cooperation in the beauty and medical fields. The two companies plan to collaborate on developing next-generation beauty and medical solutions that bridge the gap between professional treatments and daily skincare.

Founded in 2021, Higher Corporation is expanding its market presence by offering a regeneration-focused skin remodeling approach through HiloWave, a collagen booster based on Dual-HA (a combination of high- and low-molecular-weight hyaluronic acid). Leveraging its R&D capabilities supported by a network of medical professionals and its global distribution capacity, the company is expanding its business beyond South Korea into several countries, including Japan, Indonesia, and Vietnam.

The two companies will collaborate across all business areas by combining Higher Corporation’s capabilities in aesthetic medical device development, joint research with medical professionals, and global network with AMOREPACIFIC CORPORATION’s skin science research and skincare technology. AMOREPACIFIC Holdings has solidified a mid- to long-term partnership with Higher Corporation through a strategic investment.

The two companies plan to develop integrated solutions that bridge the gap between professional aesthetic procedures and daily skincare, including the development and commercialization of skin care products—such as those designed to enhance the functionality of beauty devices—as well as the creation of post-treatment after-care product lines. They will also pursue collaboration in distribution to hospitals and clinics, as well as joint research and development and marketing activities for raw materials and ingredients.
