COWAY Gallery is a brand space centered around BEREX beds and massage chairs, where visitors can lie down on the products or try out their features. Customers can also explore products from Terasol—a brand specializing in environmental appliances such as water purifiers and air purifiers, as well as home medical devices—and receive expert consultations.
COWAY has expanded COWAY Gallery to major cities nationwide—including the Seoul Metropolitan Area, the Yeongnam region, and the Honam region—to improve store accessibility, allowing local customers to experience the brand and its products close to where they live. In the first half of this year alone, COWAY opened five new COWAY Gallery locations in the Seoul metropolitan area, including company-operated stores at Hyundai Mokdong and Jungdong, the Lotte Incheon company-operated store, and pop-up stores at Lotte Jamsil and the Lotte Main Store. In the Yeongnam region, four locations were opened, including the company-operated store in Pohang and company-operated stores at Lotte Changwon and Dongrae, as well as the Galleria Jinju company-operated store. In the Honam region, a company-operated store was opened in Suncheon.
With these new openings, the total number of COWAY Gallery locations nationwide has increased to 42.
COWAY has structured its new stores in various formats—including standalone stores, department store locations, and pop-up stores—to align with the characteristics of local living areas and commercial districts. Regional flagship standalone stores were designed as experience spaces that cater to demand from neighboring cities, while the company also expanded its presence in major department stores with high foot traffic and strong demand for premium products. In key domestic retail districts, COWAY operated pop-up stores to diversify brand touchpoints.
Notably, the COWAY Gallery Pohang company-owned store was established as a large, single-story store spanning approximately 100 pyeong. It allows customers from the eastern North Gyeongsang region—including Pohang, Gyeongju, Cheongsong, and Yeongdeok—to experience COWAY’s main products and sleep and relaxation solutions all in one place.
Additionally, the company expanded its directly operated stores to major department stores with high foot traffic and strong demand for premium products, such as HYUNDAIDEPARTMENTSTORECO.,LTD’s Mok-dong and Jung-dong branches, and Lotte Department Store’s Incheon branch. At Lotte Department Store’s Jamsil and Main branches, pop-up stores offered product experience opportunities—focused on new products and premium items—to customers preparing for weddings or moving.
COWAY’s strategy is to continue opening experience stores tailored to the characteristics of each region. A COWAY spokesperson stated, “We will continue to introduce customized experience spaces that enhance customer engagement and convenience.”
