[Yun Gi-back, Edaily Reporter] BTS’s “ARIRANG” is once again gaining momentum on the global charts. “NORMAL,” a track from their fifth studio album, re-entered the Billboard Hot 100, while “ARIRANG” jumped 17 spots on the Billboard 200, continuing its global success.

According to the latest charts (dated August 1) released by the U.S. music publication Billboard on the 28th (local time), “NORMAL,” a track from BTS’s fifth studio album “ARIRANG,” re-entered the main singles chart, the Hot 100, at No. 33. The song first entered the chart at No. 41 on the chart dated April 4 and remained on the chart for three consecutive weeks; following the release of its music video and Korean audio version on the 17th, it regained momentum and successfully returned to the chart.
The album also demonstrated its enduring strength. “Arirang” climbed 17 spots from the previous week to No. 9 on the main album chart, the Billboard 200. This marks the largest jump among albums entering the Billboard 200 this week. With this, “Arirang” extended its streak to 13 consecutive weeks in the Top 10—a record that is both the first and longest-running for an album by a Korean artist.
Billboard reported that this week’s sales for “Arirang” totaled approximately 40,000 units, a 62% increase from the previous week. In particular, analysts noted that BTS’s performance of “Dynamite” during the halftime show of the “2026 FIFA North and Central America World Cup” final on the 19th had a positive impact on the album’s ranking.
The excitement surrounding the world tour was also evident in overseas music markets. “Arirang” ranked third on the “Top Albums” chart dated July 24, released by the National Syndicate of Phonographic Publishing (SNEP), climbing 13 spots from the previous week. It appears that the “BTS WORLD TOUR ARIRANG IN PARIS” concerts held on July 17–18 at the Stade de France in Paris, France, drew significant attention from local fans, leading to the rise in the charts.
BTS is scheduled to continue their North American tour at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey, on August 1–2.
