[Edaily Reporter KYUNG GYEYOUNG ] AMOREPACIFIC CORPORATION announced on the 31st that it will launch its corporate social responsibility program, “MEET YOUR BEAUTY ACADEMY,” in Delhi, India.
AMOREPACIFIC CORPORATION(090430)Organized by AMOREPACIFIC CORPORATION, the MEET YOUR BEAUTY ACADEMY is a program designed to help young people discover their potential and plan their future careers through beauty education. This marks the first time the program is being held overseas, with AMOREPACIFIC CORPORATION collaborating with the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA). AMOREPACIFIC CORPORATION explained that the initiative is significant as part of its global CSR activities, aimed at supporting youth independence, personal growth, and positive change in local communities.
Targeted at 80 local youth and running for four months, this program is structured around a curriculum that combines K-Beauty expertise with an understanding of the local beauty industry, focusing on the Delhi NCR region.
Participants will learn the skills necessary for exploring real-world career paths—such as content planning, filming, and editing; online communication; and building personal portfolios—while also taking part in in-person sessions, completing assignments, and receiving expert mentoring. Noting the rapid growth of India’s beauty industry and the resulting increase in demand for relevant talent, AMOREPACIFIC CORPORATION’s CSR team designed the program to help young people develop their beauty and digital skills and enter various fields such as retail, brand marketing, and content creation.
AMOREPACIFIC CORPORATION plans to continue sharing its K-Beauty expertise based on cultural exchange between Korea and India, and to support local youth in building their capabilities and planning for the future through its global corporate social responsibility programs.
Song Ho-jun, Head of AMOREPACIFIC CORPORATION’s CSR Team, stated, “India is a market with a passionate and rapidly growing beauty community,” adding, “We hope the Meet Your Beauty Academy will serve as a starting point for young people to discover their potential and build meaningful careers in the beauty industry.”
