[Edaily Reporter Park Jung-Soo ] #LINCSOLUTION CO., LTD., a company specializing in 3D printing-based smart manufacturing, has secured a contract from HANWHA AEROSPACE to develop components for space launch vehicles, thereby expanding its business into the aerospace sector. LINCSOLUTION CO., LTD. announced on the 25th that it has secured a contract from HANWHA AEROSPACE for the development of additive manufacturing processes for space launch vehicle components. Under this project, LINCSOLUTION CO., LTD. will carry out the development of additive manufacturing processes for space launch vehicle components in accordance with HANWHA AEROSPACE’s specifications. This is a development project that goes beyond simply supplying equipment; it involves managing the manufacturing process for actual launch vehicle components and verifying compliance with required quality standards. The company expects that this contract will enable it to expand its additive manufacturing technology and project execution capabilities in the aerospace sector, where high reliability and quality control are essential. It plans to apply the experience in component manufacturing and process verification accumulated in existing industrial settings to the development of space launch vehicle components. This development project will run through December of this year. LINCSOLUTION CO., LTD. plans to first focus its capabilities on successfully completing this task and then, based on the project experience, pursue the additional supply of related components and secure follow-on contracts. The company will also seek to secure new projects with major domestic defense and aerospace companies. LINCSOLUTION CO., LTD. has established a track record of applying 3D printing technology in the automotive, defense, and public sectors. Recently, the company strengthened its foundation in these businesses by obtaining “KS Q 9100” certification, a quality management system standard for the aerospace industry. Building on this, the company is expanding the scope of its additive manufacturing technology into the aerospace and defense sectors. The company is also continuing to invest in related infrastructure. It recently opened the “Daejeon Chonbang Aerospace Center” in Daejeon, a hub for additive manufacturing specialized in the defense sector, and plans to use it as a base for producing specialized parts, responding to customer needs, and executing additive manufacturing projects. LINCSOLUTION CO., LTD. stated, “This contract is significant because it connects the additive manufacturing technology and manufacturing experience we have accumulated across various industries to the actual development of space launch vehicle components,” adding, “We will successfully execute this project to pave the way for follow-up business, and we will continue to expand application cases and customer references in the aerospace and defense sectors, centered around the Daejeon Defense Center.”
