Hanwha General Insurance announced on the 1st that CEO Na Chae-beom visited the Cheongju Customer Service Center—the company’s largest call center—on the 25th of last month. CEO Na revisited the call center he had previously visited upon taking office. The visit held added significance as it took place at a time when the company is achieving growth as an “insurer specializing in women’s insurance” and the importance of consumer protection has grown even further. On that day, CEO Na sat in on calls at the call center to listen to customer inquiries and concerns. He emphasized that the call center should not remain merely a space for handling inquiries but should expand into new roles, such as customer retention management. In fact, Hanwha General Insurance operates a “directly managed” call center system to promote customer-centric management. As a result, the call center’s customer satisfaction scores have risen for three consecutive years: △9.8 points in 2024, △9.83 points in 2025, and △9.84 points in July 2026. Na Chae-beom, CEO of Hanwha General Insurance, told the agents, “You, who are closest to the customer’s voice, are our company’s greatest asset and a source of pride.” He added, “Let’s continue to listen to the voices from the field and create warm, differentiated services that customers can truly feel.” Following this visit, Hanwha General Insurance plans to expand participation in its “Customer Service Call Listening Program”—which allows employees to hear customer feedback firsthand—to include team leaders and other managerial staff, and to establish customer service simulations as a regular program.
