[Edaily Starin Gim Ga Yeong Reporter] “Love Virus,” starring actors Jung Hae-in and Shin Se-kyung, will be released as a TVING Original.

Produced by CJ ENM STUDIOS and Studio Phoenix, the TVING Original “Love Virus” is a romance drama that follows a couple—who have been together for nine years and are each other’s first loves—as they take a “break” to date other people before marriage, ensuring they leave no lingering feelings behind.
Jung Hae-in plays Ha Do-woon, a talented lawyer and the long-time boyfriend of Kang Chae-rin (played by Shin Se-kyung). Born as the only son of a wealthy family, Ha Do-woon is a well-rounded man who excels in everything from looks to ability and athletics, and he possesses a determined nature that ensures he achieves whatever he sets out to do.
Shin Se-kyung plays Kang Chae-rin, a dental associate and Ha Do-woon’s (played by Jung Hae-in) girlfriend, with whom he has been in a relationship since their first love. Kang Chae-rin, who has been renowned for her exceptional beauty since her school days, seems to have it all—a career as a dentist, a sexy and capable boyfriend, and an excellent work-life balance—but she is beginning to feel disillusioned with a life that has followed a single path for so long.
“Love Virus” is a collaboration between director Kim Seok-yoon—known for JTBC dramas such as “More Beautiful Than Heaven,” “My Liberation Diary,” and “Blindingly Bright”—and writer Choi Soo-young, who penned the Netflix series “Love War” and the JTBC drama “My ID Is Gangnam Beauty.”
Tving has previously received acclaim from viewers for its original series across various genres, including “Yumi’s Cells,” “Dear X,” and “Study Group.” Attention is now focused on what kind of entertainment the new series “Love Virus” will deliver.
“Love Virus” is set to premiere on TVING in 2027.
