The appointment of the CEO is expected to be finalized following a shareholders’ meeting and a board of directors meeting on the 16th. Born in 1963, Mr. Park graduated from Seoul National University with a degree in Business Administration and joined DB INSURANCE in 1991. Since then, he has worked for approximately 35 years in the Corporate, New Business, and Corporate Planning divisions and is recognized as a leading expert in corporate planning and strategy within the group. Since 2020, he has served as Head of the New Business Division (Senior Vice President) at DB INSURANCE. Since December 2022, he has served as Head of the Corporate Planning Office (Senior Vice President). A DB Life Insurance official stated, “President Park is recognized as a leader with extensive experience and expertise across the entire insurance industry,” adding, “We expect that, based on this experience, he will make a significant contribution to helping DB Life Insurance take another leap forward as a sustainable company with both profitability and sound financial health.”
