[E-Daily Reporter JAEMIN SONG ] Jang Deok-hyun, President of SamsungElectroMechanics, visited the manufacturing sites of partner companies and called for strengthened technological cooperation on components targeting high-growth markets such as AI servers and automotive electronics.

(Photo courtesy of SamsungElectroMechanics) SamsungElectroMechanics announced on the 2nd that it held the “2026 Partner Site Visit Communication Forum” with representatives from partner companies at HwaIn Technology, a partner company located in Yangsan, South Gyeongsang Province.
This event was organized to strengthen strategic partnerships with suppliers in response to the rapidly changing market environment and to jointly enhance competitiveness in materials and component technologies. President Jang and other key executives from SamsungElectroMechanics, along with approximately 40 representatives from partner companies, attended the event.
To gather a broad range of opinions from the local community, SamsungElectroMechanics invited not only member companies of the “Supplier Council” but also additional suppliers based in the Gyeongsang region. The event proceeded in the following order: supplier introductions, a communication session with CEOs, and a tour of the manufacturing facility.
During the communication session, President Jang personally explained SamsungElectroMechanics’ current business status and the key strategic directions for each business division. He emphasized that strategic collaboration with suppliers is essential to differentiate component technologies in high-growth markets such as AI, servers, and automotive electronics.

President Jang stated, “The realization of future industrial technologies is only possible when backed by the competitiveness of components and materials,” adding, “Let’s secure core technologies based on close trust and cooperation and create growth opportunities in the global market.”
Kwon Hyuk-seok, CEO of MK Chem & Tech and Chairman of the Partner Companies Association, remarked, “It is greatly encouraging that SamsungElectroMechanics’ management visited the manufacturing sites in person to share their vision for the future and listen to the voices of the front lines,” adding, “Through technological innovation and rigorous quality control, we will jointly lead high-value-added markets such as AI and automotive electronics.”

SamsungElectroMechanics plans to incorporate the feedback gathered during this visit to identify customized support measures and win-win initiatives for each partner company.
SamsungElectroMechanics does business with approximately 900 domestic and international partner companies. Among them, 40 key domestic component manufacturers are active members of the Partner Companies Association. Launched in 1986, the association has maintained a cooperative relationship with SamsungElectroMechanics for 40 years.
In accordance with the “Agreement on Strengthening the Partner Company Ecosystem” signed with the Shared Growth Committee, SamsungElectroMechanics will provide a total of 200 billion won over a three-year period from 2025 to 2027. The company is promoting financial support—including through the Shared Growth Fund—as well as initiatives to improve productivity and quality, and provide specialized technical and position-specific training. It has received the highest rating in the Shared Growth Index evaluation for two consecutive years.
