[Edaily Starin Gim Ga Yeong Reporter] Kwang-soo from Season 16 and Hyun-sook from Season 22 of ENA and SBS Plus’s “I’m Single” will appear on JTBC’s “Love War.”
On the 11th, the production team of JTBC’s “Love War” announced “In Episode 12 of ‘Love War,’ airing on the 14th, TV personality Kwak Beom will appear as a special envoy, while Jeong Il-dae (‘Gwang-su’ from Season 16) and Kim So-yeon (‘Hyun-sook’ from Season 22)—who sparked unprecedented buzz with their appearance on the ‘I’m Single’ divorced singles special—will engage in a fierce battle of wits.”
From the very beginning, the two have conflicting memories regarding their 449-day relationship. When Jeong Il-dae claims, “We broke up four times during our 449-day relationship,” Kim So-yeon retorts, “As far as I remember, it was only once,” and asks, “Who were you dating then?” Frustrated by the tense back-and-forth over their completely differing memories of the same relationship, Jeong Il-dae vents his exasperation, saying, “I can’t exactly play back a tape.”
Previously, during his appearance on Season 16 of *I Am Single*, when Jeong Il-dae and Young-cheol from that season had a disagreement, he said, “Should I play the tape?”—a line that went on to become a catchphrase.
Seo Jang-hoon seems flustered by Kim So-yeon’s unpredictable emotional swings. Kim So-yeon, who was dancing in the car and bursting with energy, suddenly changes her tone just three seconds later, saying, “Just try to touch me. I’ll blow up.” However, just three seconds later, she returns to her sweet, playful tone, showcasing a rollercoaster of emotions. On top of that, it was revealed that after arguing with Jeong Il-dae, she sent him a message two A4 pages long—a fact that surprised Lee Hyori. Eventually, Jeong Il-dae says, “I’m not sure if I can handle this woman’s emotional ups and downs.”
Seo Jang-hoon bursts into laughter at Kim So-yeon’s cheerful yet unpredictable personality, remarking, “I bet the ‘Na Sol’ production team celebrated after interviewing her.” Later, Lee Hyori reportedly described the pair, saying, “A girlfriend with a princess complex and a boyfriend with a servant complex—the two seem like a match made in heaven.”
“I Am Solo” is a hyper-realistic dating show where single men and women who desperately want to get married gather to struggle to find love. Although Kwang-soo (Season 16) and Hyun-sook (Season 22) did not appear in the same season, they became a hot topic after it was revealed that they had started dating following the show’s conclusion.
Meanwhile, “Love War” airs every Monday at 9:50 p.m.
