[Edaily Reporter JAEMIN SONG ] LGELECTRONICS is expanding the scope of its official partnership with the Emmy Awards—the most prestigious awards ceremony in the U.S. broadcasting industry—from premium TVs to home appliances. The company plans to target North American consumers and content industry professionals with its OLED TVs and “LG Signature” ultra-premium home appliances.

Building on its ongoing collaboration with the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences, LGELECTRONICS is participating as an official Emmy Awards partner this year, following its involvement last year. This year, the company has expanded the scope of its partnership—which previously focused on premium TVs—to include home appliances.
An “LG Signature Influencer Lounge” will be set up near the awards ceremony venue. The lounge will showcase premium TVs, including the “LG OLED evo AI,” as well as the “LG Signature Essence White Refrigerator” and the “LG Signature Styler.” LG Corp. also plans to produce on-site content featuring award ceremony attendees—such as actors and creators—experiencing the products.

LG Corp. Smart TV users will be able to watch past winners and this year’s nominees—including “SNL Vault,” “The Walking Dead Universe,” “Law & Order,” “The Price Is Right,” and “Family Feud”—all in one place.
LGELECTRONICS has also been expanding the intersection between its OLED TVs and the Hollywood content industry. The 2026 LG OLED evo AI is acclaimed for faithfully reproducing the creator’s intent through perfect blacks and precise color reproduction. In 2021, it won a Technical Emmy Award in recognition of its color reproduction and expressiveness.
Mori McIntyre, President and CEO of the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences, said, “LGELECTRONICS’ entertainment technology and LG Signature home appliances exemplify the values of innovation and artistry that the Emmy Awards celebrate.”
Kwak Do-young, Vice President and Head of LGELECTRONICS’ North American Region, said, “Through OLED TV technology and our premium LG Signature home appliances, we will continue to provide customers around the world with elegant living experiences in their daily lives.”
