[Edaily Starin KIM HYUNSIK Reporter] Singer Young Tak will release his third studio album, “GOGO,” on the 14th.

“GOGO” is Young Tak’s first full-length album in three years, following the release of his second album, “FORM,” in August 2023, which featured “Form Michta” as the title track.
The album features a total of 12 tracks, including the title track “Kkeo-eo,” as well as “Penguin,” “Psycho World,” “Do-Si-La-Sol-Fa-Mi-Re-Do,” “Vintage Love,” “Heo-Heo” (虛虛), “Old Radio,” “The Weather’s Really Nice,” “Saved Draft,” “I Won’t Be Able to Sleep Tonight,” “VIDA LOCA,” and “PACEMAKER.” All tracks will be released at 6 p.m. today via various online music platforms.
Young Tak personally participated in writing the lyrics, composing the music, and arranging 11 of the tracks, excluding “I Won’t Be Able to Sleep Tonight.” He completed the album with songs spanning a diverse range of genres—including his main genre, trot, as well as punk, pop, rock, ballads, and country. Previously, Youngtak showcased his songwriting prowess by producing hits such as “Why Are You There?” and “I’m on Fire.”
The title track, “Kkeo-eo,” is an electronic dance track that conveys the message, “So what if things don’t go exactly as expected?” He co-wrote the song with composer Ji Gwang-min.
Following the album’s release, Young Tak will embark on a nationwide concert tour titled “TAK SHOW5.” After kicking off the tour with three performances from the 3rd to the 5th of next month at Korea University’s Hwajeong Gymnasium in Seoul, he will visit Jeonju, Daegu, Incheon, and Busan in succession through January of next year.
