[Edaily Reporter SOYEON KIM ] SamsungElectronics announced that it has unveiled 19 major works by galleries participating in “Art Basel Paris 2026,” taking place from the 20th to the 25th at the Grand Palais in Paris, France, on the “Samsung Art Store.” Users can now enjoy works by renowned artists from the comfort of their own homes without having to visit Paris in person.

Samsung Art Store is a paid subscription service that allows users to view famous artworks on SamsungElectronics TVs. SamsungElectronics continues its partnership with Art Basel, which is held annually in Hong Kong, Basel, Paris, and Miami Beach, showcasing the exhibited contemporary artworks on the Art Store.

This Paris collection features a large number of representative works by world-renowned contemporary artists who reinterpret familiar everyday subjects through a unique perspective.

Among the key works is “Poppies #4” by Georgian contemporary artist Elene Shatberashvili. The piece is characterized by the artist’s signature rich and sensuous use of color and her warm portrayal of everyday still lifes.

Also included is “The Lounge (black and white)” by Hans Op de Beeck, a world-renowned Belgian sculptor and installation artist. The work depicts an interior space arranged with various objects in a monochromatic gray tone, evoking a sense that time has stood still and creating a contemplative atmosphere.

The Samsung Art Store features anti-glare technology that minimizes light reflection, allowing visitors to clearly appreciate the artworks even in brightly lit indoor spaces. According to the store, this technology vividly brings out the colors and textures of oil paintings, as well as the three-dimensionality of sculptural works, on the screen.

Daria Greene, Head of Content Curation at Samsung Art Store, said, “The appeal of this collection lies in how it reinterprets familiar themes in distinct ways through unique color palettes and sculptural language.” She added, “By bringing together diverse artistic perspectives on a single platform—Samsung Art Store—we hope viewers around the world will be able to explore a diverse and profound world of art from the comfort of their own homes.”

Samsung Art Store is currently available in more than 117 countries worldwide and offers over 5,000 artworks in 4K high definition. It is accessible on Samsung Art TV products, including The Frame Pro, The Frame, Micro RGB, and OLED (SH95).
