[Edaily Reporter Lee So-Hyun ] FLITTO Inc.(300080)’s artificial intelligence (AI) translation and interpretation solution, “Vogl,” was deployed at a global startup and K-culture event held in New York City. Real-time translation subtitles were provided on the main stage, while participants in smaller sessions were able to access translation and interpretation services via their own mobile devices, creating a multilingual communication environment tailored to the venue’s layout.

FLITTO Inc. announced on the 20th that it provided its AI interpretation and translation solution, Vogl, to the global K-culture and startup event “KOOM Week 2026.”
KOOM Week is an event hosted by UKF (United Korean Founders), a nonprofit network of Korean entrepreneurs and investors in New York. FLITTO Inc. participated as the official interpretation and translation partner, providing real-time AI interpretation and translation at the “KOOM Stage” event held on the 16th.
Real-time subtitles on the main stage… Personal apps for smaller sessions
FLITTO Inc. implemented Vogl in two different ways depending on the event space. For the main stage, which was set up like a concert hall, the company used “Vogl Stage,” a solution specialized for conferences, to display real-time translations—including Korean and English—on the stage screen.
For small-scale sessions on the sub-stages, participants were able to use the Vogl app on their own mobile devices to access individual interpretation and translation services.
All event participants were provided with a “7-day unlimited use coupon,” and instructions on how to use the app were offered through on-site tutorials and instructional videos.
Building an Interpretation and Translation Environment Tailored to the Venue Layout
FLITTO Inc. highlighted as a key feature of this project its tailored approach to translation and interpretation methods—ranging from the large main screen to individual mobile devices used in small-scale sessions—based on the characteristics of each space.
The company explained that it can lower language barriers among participants at global events through near-real-time response speeds and context-aware translations.
Lee Jeong-soo, CEO of FLITTO Inc., said, “It is meaningful that Bogle was utilized as a communication solution at an event where global visitors and aspiring entrepreneurs interested in K-Culture and startups gathered in one place,” adding, “We will continue to expand our use cases across various global events, both online and offline.”
