KTCorporation announced on the 20th that it held “K-PATH 2026” at the Sofitel Ambassador Seoul in Songpa-gu, Seoul, and presented key AX collaboration cases with AI startups. The event was attended by approximately 200 representatives from the venture and industrial sectors, including past K-PATH selected companies, as well as officials from the Ministry of Science and ICT, the Ministry of SMEs and Startups, AWS, Google Cloud, and HyundaiMotor.
K-PATH is an innovation program that nurtures promising startups with AI capabilities as KTCorporation’s AX business partners and promotes joint projects. Since 2024, KTCorporation has selected promising startups annually and has continued business collaborations with a total of 56 companies to date.
At this event, KTCorporation highlighted practical commercialization collaboration models currently underway in key areas such as Physical AI and Agent-based AI.
In the Physical AI sector, “Dime Technology” presented a factory operation service that combines integrated robot control with digital twins, while “3i” introduced its “Public SOC Physical AI” service—which automates everything from facility anomaly detection to robot deployment, filming, and AI analysis—and both companies outlined their progress in preparing for commercialization with KTCorporation.
In the agentic AI sector, “Sionic AI” is currently developing an AI agent that identifies the causes of network outages and proposes corrective measures, and is in the process of validating its application to KTCorporation’s network operations. “Dalpa” is developing an AI-based solution for analyzing drama scripts and proposals, which KTCorporation plans to introduce into its media and content businesses within the group.
In addition, to support the continued growth of startups participating in K-PATH, KTCorporation connected them with startup support programs offered by global IT companies such as AWS and Google Cloud, and organized opportunities to attract investment and explore new business ventures through business meetings with venture capitalists and industry representatives.
Lee Min-kyu, CEO of Autometa, who attended the event, said, “It is meaningful to be able to explore new possibilities in the medical AX field based on agentic AI technology together with KTCorporation,” adding, “We will actively collaborate with various participating companies to apply the technology in the field and commercialize it.”
Park Sang-won, Executive Vice President and Head of KTCorporation’s AX Business Division, emphasized, “Through K-PATH, we will connect the technologies of promising AI startups with KTCorporation’s business capabilities to achieve tangible commercialization results.” He added, “We will transform AX demand across various industries into new business opportunities and expand the AX ecosystem so that we can grow together with domestic AI companies.”
