[Edaily Reporter Shin Yeong-bin ] SamsungElectronics(005930)will launch the “Galaxy Buds On,” the first clip-style wireless earbuds in the Galaxy Buds series, in South Korea on the 27th. Designed not to block the ears, the product allows users to enjoy music while still hearing ambient sounds.

The Galaxy Buds On will be available in black only and priced at 299,000 won. It will be sold at online retailers such as Samsung.com and open marketplaces, as well as at Samsung Stores nationwide.

The product features a clip-on design that attaches to the ear. Made from shape-memory alloy, it flexes flexibly to conform to the shape of the ear, ensuring a secure fit even during high-intensity workouts.

For sound quality, it is equipped with “Twin Boost Speakers” that deliver rich bass. To minimize sound leakage from the clip-on structure, it also features “sound leakage reduction” technology—a first for the Galaxy Buds series.

It also supports “Intelligent Clear Call” technology to enhance call quality. However, SamsungElectronics explained that some sound may still be audible externally depending on playback volume, the shape of the ear, and ambient noise levels.

When paired with a smartphone or tablet that supports Galaxy AI, users can also access hands-free features such as “AI Assistant Voice Activation,” “Head Gestures,” and “Quick Voice Memo.”

The charging case is compatible with accessories for the Galaxy Buds4 series. SamsungElectronics is offering two 30% discount coupons for Galaxy Buds accessories—redeemable on Samsung.com—to customers who purchase the product by November 30.
