[Edaily Reporter YUN GI BACK ] Singer Yoon Ha has parted ways with her agency, C9 Entertainment, over an issue regarding unpaid royalties. The exclusive contract between the two parties ended last month, and the dispute over the unpaid royalties is expected to be resolved in court.

Yoon Ha’s legal representative, the law firm Iro, stated on the 26th, “We requested that the agency rectify the situation after royalties remained unpaid for an extended period, but the issue was not resolved,” adding, “Consequently, we notified the agency of the termination of the exclusive contract last September.”
It is reported that C9 Entertainment also acknowledged in an official letter that the termination of the contract took effect as of September 14. Consequently, there is no disagreement between the two parties regarding the termination of the exclusive contract.
However, a financial dispute remains. Yoon Ha’s side has filed a lawsuit to recover the unpaid royalties and intends to resolve the issue through future legal proceedings.
Yoon Ha’s side emphasized that the termination of her contract with the agency does not mean she will suspend her singing career. Yoon Ha’s legal representative stated, “Yoon Ha will continue her music activities,” and added, “As other artists and employees at C9 Entertainment are unrelated to this matter, we ask that you refrain from speculative reporting.”
