[Edaily Reporter LEE YUNHWA ] "Production disruptions at domestic factories in the second and third quarters led to a decline in capacity utilization rates, and with raw material prices remaining high, we expect cost pressures to persist into the fourth quarter. Geopolitical issues also remain, suggesting that the global business environment will continue to be challenging.
However, domestic factory production has returned to normal since September, and with the full-scale launch and sales of new models in the fourth quarter, we anticipate a recovery in volume and the positive impact of these new models. In particular, we anticipate expanded sales of key new models—the Avante, Tucson, and GV90—as well as an improved product mix driven by the new launch of the GV80 Hybrid and an increased share of hybrid vehicles. Furthermore, we plan to pursue company-wide efforts to minimize cost pressures and improve profitability through ongoing initiatives to enhance cost competitiveness and the reduction of incentives associated with new vehicle launches.”
