[Edaily Reporter Gim Ga Yeong ] Singer and actress Nana has expressed her displeasure toward online trolls following her public romance with T.O.P., a former member of Big Bang.

On the 5th, Nana posted on her social media, “For 17 years, at every single moment, I have sincerely dedicated myself to my work and done my very best.” She added, “As I am only human, there were times when I felt emotionally shaken and unstable. However, even during those times, I never took the work entrusted to me lightly or failed to fulfill my responsibilities.”
She continued, “Over the past 17 years, I’ve gained fans who have cheered me on and supported me without asking for anything in return, wishing only for my happiness. Whether I was actively working or taking a hiatus without any updates, they waited patiently and cheered me on with unwavering loyalty.” She added, “I wanted to cherish those precious feelings and hoped they would be even happier because of me. That remains true even now.”
She continued, “The reason I’m writing this now is to address those who call themselves fans but have been intentionally writing malicious posts, disregarding my choices and freedom following my public acknowledgment of my relationship.” She added, “I hope you’ll take a sober look at what you want and expect from a celebrity—and from me, Nana. I’ve tried to understand all of your words and actions, but I simply cannot comprehend them.”
In particular, Nana emphasized, “What major wrongdoing have I committed? Have you suffered any harm because of me? Have I caused a moral scandal?” She continued, “To be perfectly clear, the matter of my relationship—and the decision to acknowledge it—is my personal private life and my own life. I don’t think there’s anything I need to apologize for.”
She added, “The part I do feel sorry about is that I caused people—who I don’t consider to be true fans—to hear, see, or feel criticism and hurt that they didn’t need to experience because of me,” and warned, “Please do not hurt the fans who love and respect me as a human being, not just as a celebrity, and please stop causing them any further harm.”
Nana said, “I am sincerely sorry to the fans who have been quietly enduring this,” adding, “And I will remember the preciousness and gratitude behind every single word of encouragement you send me. I will definitely repay you by showing my best side.”
Nana and T.O.P met while filming T.O.P’s music video and began dating around last June. They recently confirmed their relationship and are now dating publicly.
