Kabam Develops Idle Collection RPG… Plans to Feature Over 100 Characters at Launch
[Edaily Reporter An Yu-ri ] Netmarble Corporation(251270) Netmarble’s North American subsidiary, Kabam, unveiled a new game on the 6th that brings together iconic Warner Bros. animated characters spanning generations, including Batman, Bugs Bunny, and Scooby-Doo. The game is an idle collection role-playing game (RPG) that lets players enjoy combining heroes and villains from different universes, and it aims to attract global users by leveraging major animation IPs.

Netmarble Corporation announced on the same day that it had unveiled “WB All-Star Mayhem,” currently under development by Kabam. The game is being produced under license from Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment. Characters from nine animation IPs (intellectual property), including DC, Looney Tunes, Cartoon Network, as well as “Justice League Unlimited,” “Adventure Time,” “Teen Titans GO!,” and “The Powerpuff Girls,” will appear in the game.
The story unfolds as Brain from “Pinky and Brain” seizes a device that controls multiple TV worlds. When Brain teams up with villains from each dimension to alter the narratives of those worlds, players must assemble a team of characters—ranging from Batman, Superman, and the Teen Titans to Finn and Jake—that transcend the boundaries of their original series to confront him.
Kabam has brought the unique personalities of the original works to life through 2D animation while also granting each character distinct combat abilities. Players can adjust their battle strategies based on the composition of their heroes and villains. At launch, the game will feature over 100 characters, with additional characters and universes set to be introduced sequentially in the future.
Specific service regions and release dates will be announced at a later time.
Sebastien Goode, Executive Producer at Kabam, stated, “We focused on faithfully capturing the charm of these long-beloved animated series while naturally integrating diverse characters and universes into a single game.” He added, “We’ve enhanced each character’s combat abilities while preserving their unique humor and personality, and we aimed to create a game that players can enjoy casually anytime, anywhere.”
Meanwhile, Netmarble Corporation also unveiled the title and key art for the new roguelite game “Guardian Tales: Dig Dot,” currently in development by Kong Studio.
Netmarble Corporation signed a global publishing agreement with Kong Studio for “Project Octopus” last November and has now officially confirmed the game’s title as “Guardian Tales: Dig Dot.” The game is the first spin-off of the popular RPG “Guardian Tales,” released in 2020. It is a casual roguelite that allows players to experience new battles every time they play through various character combinations and deck-building.
